Website Review: RepairPal.com

I just found a great new site that can save you time and money, RepairPal.com.  I signed up for free and registered my car. I was able to see information specific to my car such as recall information.  I can also save service information, what work I've had done on the car and where.  There are also user submitted questions and answers.  My car has been freaking for months and none of us could figure out what was causing it, I was able to find an answer on RepairPal.com.  I am so excited to have found an answer!

You don't have to register your car to use RepairPal.com.  From their Car Info tab you simply put in the make, model and year and you get a lot of useful information.  Take a look at the 2001 Ford Escort page.  You'll see Ratings and Reviews, Questions and Answers, Common Problems, and Recalls and TSB's.  This information is not only useful for vehicles you own but also ones you are considering purchasing.

I love their Auto Repair Encyclopedia.  When you look up the part you're looking for, such as a timing belt or water pump, you get information on what it is, how it's replaced, best practices and common symptoms.  They also list recent estimates for that part.  From that page you can ask a question, get an estimate or find a repair shop.

I am so glad I found RepairPal.com.  I finally know what is wrong with my car, about how much it should cost and where to take it.  I'm actually very proud of myself because we've had 4 men trying to figure out what was wrong for months.
